cashier, obviously talking to my friend: "o my gosh, look at her! she's so, little! like a doll! i thought you guys were mom and daughter, but then i was like oh, nevermind! wow, i can't believe it!"
the friend and i both politely smile and pay for our food and make a mad dash outta that place.
well she clearly has NO manners.
People used to call Angela a doll when she was an infant. Or they would say, "Oh...she is so tiny!!!" Sometimes I didn't like taking her out, just because I didn't want to hear it. I can't imagine 15 years of it. Chin up Ellie...you are better than most human beings I have met on this planet. And I have met a lot of them!!!
